Unreal Essential Training (2016) Tutorial Blog Part 7
Material Instances:
First part of this tutorial video just shows me what things to focus for the Rock Material. This is just to make a different material from an existing material
This picture shows how the rook material will look like first then I will add another picture for the end result.
On the Right this is just the Create Material Instance.

Lighting Basics: (Video For Each One)
Directional Light: Infinite Light where ever the light is pointing. The light is not affected if its just moved around or scaled, but can be affected if rotated.
Point Light: With Point light the Scale is more important (Determines the size of the point light), but the translate will also affect the light. Rotate doesn't do much.
Spot Light: Scale, Rotate, and Translate will affect this light. Not as Bright but there are options to change it. (In Video) Color can be changed with every light type.
Lighting with Light Actors: Lighting (Video)
Here I am adding a point light to the car's front light. Using both a Point Light and a Spot Light and I also use a Visual Effect. ( Box Reflection Capture )
Environment Lighting: This part of the tutorial I am adding some source of light to the environment using both a sky light and a pre-made sky box that that tutorial provides. (Video) I am also adjusting some of the options for the directional light.
Building The Lighthouse Light: In the first thing the tutorial told me to do was add a empty actor located in the Basic Tab. The tutorial will show another way to add light and this light will be for the Lighthouse. I used an empty actor and then I added a Point Light and a Spot Light on the lighthouse as well as a provided light. to create what is shown in the end of the video. ( Or Picture )
