Unreal Essential Training (2016) Tutorial Blog Part 4
Here I assigned a material to the landscape. *Note others had problems with the Landscape material that's why it looks like this instead of this.

I am assigning Layers here because I can not paint them in until they have been assigned.
After I did this it actually changed my landscape to normal as in 2nd picture above.
Here I applied the 4 different paint materials I have available. The Rock, Mud, Grass, and wet materials were used in this landscape.
Level Design: Blocking
Overview of geometry brushes- Just an overview. There isn't anything i'm doing in this part.
Geometry Brushes: Benefits
- Rapidly blocking out levels
- Addressing scale issues
- Play testing a level concept
- Filling gaps between game assets
Geometry Brushes: Caveats
- Can get expensive if overused
- Linear and flat edged (non organic)
- Limited model and texture capability

Basic Actors and Geometry are not the same. Geometry or BSP in the Video can be used to add or subtract as shown in the picture.
